Children in Woodland, British Columbia, got to take a look at machines they were fascinated by during the annual Dozer Day event, as people used construction equipment to teach these kids about what happens in the industry, The Columbian reported.

According to news outlet, the children were shown the ins and outs of John Deere construction equipment, as the crowds braved the rainy weather to hear the roar of the engines and raise money for charity through donations and ticket sales.

"When we got here this morning, we looked out and it was a sea of people with umbrellas," one onlooker told The Columbian.

John Deere offers a number of different models of construction equipment, as its dozers come with wheels or in the form of a crawler, as tracks were added to certain machines in order to improve traction and maneuverability on job sites and construction areas, according to the company's website
