John Deere recently revealed the 2016 Gator XUV 825i Special Edition, a unit that is designed for livestock workers who require more storage to keep tools organized and accessible while on the job.

The new model has two integrated cargo tool boxes that can hold up to 1,000 pounds of material without issue. The driver’s side toolbox has a top-door opening and divided compartments. On the passenger’s side, the toolbox has a side-door opening. These tool boxes are ideal for hauling vaccines for livestock or carrying tools to mend a fence.

Additionally, this Gator has roof-integrated LED lights for operators who may work in the pre-dawn hours or after the sun goes down. The LED bulbs provide more than 50,000 hours of illumination and have a lifespan 250 times longer than halogen bulbs.

“The Special Edition Gator was designed for those customers who require additional storage to complete the task at hand, day or night,” Mark Davey, John Deere marketing manager of Gator utility vehicles, told UTV Guide.

Every 2016 Gator XUV 825i Special Edition model comes with power steering, Maxxis Bighorn tires and a front protection package. Floor mats, a heavy-duty fender guard, and a heavy-duty brush guard all come standard on the Special Edition.
